This gull is jazzed about catching a clam for his supper.
He looks like he can't stop smiling at his good luck!
Of course, his task is not yet done. He has to break the clamshell open before he can eat.
Breaking the shell can be a long and slow process on these sandy, pebbly beaches. But even if he has to drop the clam 4 or 5 times before it opens, the reward will be worth it!
