Historical Walking Tour Stroll through Saxonville and visit more than a dozen significant sites!
Meet Brett Peruzzi, of Nobscot Neighbors, at the Athenaeum (corner of Watson Place and Concord St.) in North Framingham. 1pm
Framingham, On Sunday:
Bird Walk, Sudbury River/Carol Getchell Nature Trail
Celebrate the sounds along the Sudbury River with Michele Grzenda, Weston Conservation Agent, as she leads a bird walk and nature hike sponsored by the Framingham Conservation Commission on the Carol Getchell Nature Trail. Bring bug spray. Meet at the end of Little Farms Rd., off Elm St. in Framingham. 7am
Southborough, On Sunday:
Family Fun Day on the Sudbury River.
Join the Sudbury River Watershed Organization, Southborough’s Open Space Preservation Commission and Recreation Commission for a fun-filled afternoon. All activities located within walking distance from the corner of Bridge and Wood Streets. Info: http://www.sudburyriver.org/. noon–3pm
Free Canoe Rides on the Sudbury River - Learn About and Build Fairy Houses using materials provided by Mother Nature - Nature Walk and Scavenger Hunt on trails alongside the Sudbury River - Fishing Demonstration with hands-on opportunity for youngsters of all ages to fish - Meet Gordon Morrison, award winning children’s book author and illustrator of nature books.

History, Music, Art and More at the Old Manse.
Join Trustees of Reservations for a festive weekend at the Old Manse. The following events will be available throughout the weekend:
Interpreters will offer landscape tours of the Manse and discuss connections to literature, nature, the river and urbanization. 10am–6pm Music: Two for the Show, performing folk, country, swing, blues, and more. 2–4pm each afternoon Landscape and wildlife painting exhibit by Tom Wilson will be on display through the weekend. 10am–6pm Climb the stairs for new tours of the Old Manse attic 10am–6pm Old Manse Bookstore book sale will be ongoing throughout the weekend, conducted outdoors and indoors. 10am–6pm
